Dr Katarina Sokić is a Senior Lecturer with a background as both a lawyer and professor, and nine years of experience teaching at higher education institutions in areas including Human Resource Management, Business Ethics, Company Law, and Labour Law. She holds a law degree and a Master’s in Civil Law from the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Law, and a PhD in Psychology from the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. Her research centres on the psychology of individual differences and personality psychology.

Dr Katarina Sokić has gained most of her professional business experience as a lawyer and professor. For the past nine years, she has taught at a higher education institution, delivering courses in Human Resource Management, Business Ethics in Management, Methodology for Scientific Research, Psychology of Creativity, Management of Capital Firms, Psychology of Personality and Organisation, Company Law, and Labour Law. This dual background gives her a strong command of both the legal and psychological framework underpinning business organisation management.

She graduated from the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Law, where she also completed her Master’s degree in Civil Law, and went on to complete her bar and notary exams. She later earned her PhD in Psychology from the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. Her research work focuses mainly on the psychology of individual differences and personality psychology, and she independently conducts scientific research using both quantitative and qualitative data processing methods. She has served as team leader on multiple research and academic projects.

Alongside her academic and professional work, Katarina volunteers at an association supporting people with mental disabilities, and enjoys spending her spare time in nature.
