Short BioΒ
Dr Ventsislav Ivanov is a Business and Management lecturer with over eight years’ experience teaching Business, Management and Economics, with a particular focus on financial analysis and accounting management. He holds a PhD, two Master’s degrees (Banking Accountancy and an MBA) from Dimitar A. Tsenov Academy of Economics, Bulgaria, and Qualified Teacher of Economics status. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and a Certified Management & Business Educator (CMBE). His research includes work on artificial intelligence in higher education and online teaching practice in the private HE sector, and he serves on the editorial board of the International Journal of Private Higher Education.

Overview
Dr Ivanov holds two Master’s degrees β one in Banking Accountancy, the other an MBA β along with his PhD, all from Dimitar A. Tsenov Academy of Economics, Bulgaria. He holds Qualified Teacher of Economics status and has built his academic career across both the UK and Bulgaria, including as a research associate at Oxford Business College and as an assistant at the Technical University of Sofia.
With over eight years’ lecturing experience in Business and Management and Economics β particularly financial analysis and accounting management β he currently lectures in Business and Management at Oxford Business College. His career prior to academia included various managerial positions within the financial and public sectors.

Dr Ivanov’s research centres on higher education practice, technology, and financial/accounting education. His work includes:
